I really really like this. This was an especially well thought out and mature piece of work, and for that I commend you.
Your narrator was excellent, he represented the mood exactly as you intended it to be.
Your animation and illustration was done brilliantly, in my opinion. This obviously wasn't you using animation as a way to improve your skills solely, this was you using animation to prove a point. There is something truly mature and admirable about that.
Your statements, however pretty general, are presented really well. There were so many small artistic touches you used to make the world seem dreary, the sound design, the lack of colour, the luminosity of the phones in contrast-- it just all seemed to work.
My favourite part of this was that subtle comparison you made between the two at the end between the junkie and the iPhone user. That subtley shows great respect for your audience, which is another reason I honestly think this is a profondly meaningful and mature animation.
I can tell you presented exactly as you intended, well done!

Great

I really admire what this animation stands for when it goes all out and does extremely well with such a simplistic art style. I really love the way it can be so simple and still deliver such a high quality performance on all grounds.

I didn't find the laughs to be in any way cheap, and the voice acting complimented everything so well, it was amazing. Seriously, I can't tell you how many different artists make great cartoons with just sort of standard amature voice acting quality. There's a few out there that just know what to say with just exceptional expression and dignity into the mic and you're one of them.

This is the first time I've seen anything like this cartoon with multiple skits rolling along on Newgrounds, and it was really great. The way that they both have such great personalities potrayed gave it another sense of realism and believability, and it wasn't just some dude telling jokes into a mic with animations (exaggeration, but hopefully you get my point).

I really think that this animation is really a great example of how someone can pull off such a great cartoon purely with the shiny quality of the jokes and the voice acting.

Really well done.

A masterpiece

Making an original storyline is often considered difficult now days, but occasionally you find that someone will bring along something as flexible and beautiful as this. With a plot that is rock solid, and a soundtrack that must have broken many backs to get, I have to say this is one of the most incredible pieces of art ever to grace this portal.
Bravo.

Aw, gee willickers, really? Shucks.

Great but

It simply isn't good enough to be elidgible for the big bad portal. Although this is an incredible piece of illustrations, it just wont survive for long.

You need to put more into your submissions, make it long enough, and good enough, so it has a chance (even if it be a small one) to appear on the front page. Because anything could stimulate tom's brain.

Wow

That was pretty groundbreaking for me.
The animation was first off no doubt exceptional, and the shades and realism of the people and their shadows was great. You really captured the real life movement of hair blowing in the wind.

As far as i'm concerned i wouldn't be suprised if this got a wonderful score.

Horay!

Great linking between jerry's events and hers, it made the movie even better to watch.

Bravo

Once again your endless songs got me dancin again.

And to inuyasha2600, its a loop, it doesn't end...

haha

Lolbeans to your lines! Fave ones as followed.
"I'm gonna go delete your emails"
"Without you it'd just be a site with hentai!"
"I'm gonna go look at fat anime chicks!"
"Your now as cool as Luis! *Cough Splutter*"

Also fine choices for the awards, i havent seen the "Chuck norris" whatever, but i will soon. Also, with the game winner, i'd like to argue that Mastermind WC was my main thought on what'd win, because i simply put that FPA2 was a sidescroller, a particular type of gaming constantly released. One thing that held it together was obviously the amazing actionscript used, and contributions from various famous authors. Where-as MMWC was an all-new style of flash game (emphasise on the flash). It was big, bad, and it was near to impossible to finish. With many different aspects of goons and bases to unlock, it takes well over an hour to complete. FPA2 had awards, and unlockables too, no doubt, but to finish, took a much shorter period of time. This also gave it the replayability MMWC lacked, once you finished it, you didnt wanna touch it for another 2 months. In that sense i suppose since they were judging on replayability it had it's benefits too win. But it was also judged upon originality (i think), and a sidescroller could only go so far.

I dunno where i was going with this, so yeah.
